Tradition is something that always should and will be upheld and as such is the tradition that the BCL has of its own with the annual awards night each year. One would think the awards nights are held after the season by maybe 1 month at the latest however the BCL has developed its own laid back style of having the past seasons awards night the night before the next season kicks off.....well, if it aint broke, dont fix it!! On a sunny weekend at Harrow back on the last weekend of October 2011, a 6's tournament was being played between 12 teams all enjoying the great weather that Bangkok has put on for them. However, the enjoyment soon turn to dissapointment and to some in this city heartbreak. Within hours on Sunday, Harrow playing fields were submerged under 2 metres of water and along with the surrounding area, was in for a long wait to get back to normality.
