A & B Divisions Get an Overhaul

Both A & B Divisions this season have been re-organised and now are both 25 over Divisions. Owing to only 2 teams being available to play in the old 40 over A Division and with the 25 over format being more popular, it was decided to incorporate this into both the A & B Divisions.

With this change in the lower Divisions, this meant that two teams from last years A DIvision were promoted to the Premier Division. A Division champions, Aditya Birla Cricket Club join the top league along with runners up Punjab Cricket Club. The Premier Division still retains 9 teams as unfortunately two teams, Indian Cricket Club and BC/Elite will not be fielding teams this year. Aditya Birla, a regular competitor over the years are fully ready and keen to mix it amongst the top teams this year. Deserved winners last year, the team makes a 200km round trip on game days to play in the BCL.
